This property was fantastic. We arrived in Caen earlier than the check‑in time, so I messaged the owner, Marie, on WhatsApp to ask whether we could access the apartment early. She replied instantly and said it was absolutely fine.
I initially had a bit of trouble with the keys, but that was entirely on me for not reading all the instructions properly (man brain). Once I actually paid attention, getting in was simple. And once we stepped inside, we found our little slice of heaven.
The apartment was spotless, beautifully set up, and so comfortable that we settled in immediately. I absolutely recommend this cosy little place to anyone who wants their own space while exploring the area.
This truly was a highlight of our stay in Caen. Thank you, Marie.

Su ubicación en pleno centro de Caen. La decoración del salón comedor muy acertada y su jardín privado una maravilla. Te da la opción de tener un espacio más amplio si buscas poder cocinar algo.
No me dio la sensación que estuviera tan limpio como debería. La cocina necesita algún cambio o reforma pues desmerece en relación al resto del conjunto. Las escaleras nada más abrir la puerta del apartamento era algo con lo que no contábamos pues por las fotos parece que toda la estancia esté en planta baja y no es así.

Het appartement ligt echt midden in het centrum, geweldig om de deur uit te lopen en direct midden in het stadsleven opgenomen te worden, vele restaurants en winkels om de hoek. Huis heeft een grote koelkast. Een tuin midden in het centrum is ook bijzonder te noemen. Bed is heel goed en lekker breed. Binnen is het wel schoon.
Er zijn echt een groot aantal tekortkomingen zoals een TV die niet werkt, een oven is er wel maar blijkt niet op het gas aangesloten te zijn. Het huis is erg gehorig, je hoort de bovenburen lopen. Het zit naast een restaurant en de afzuigkap van het restaurant blaast in de badkamer en keuken, dus ramen dicht na 18:00 uur. Wifi gegevens in de app kloppen niet er is een andere router geïnstalleerd, erg lastig allemaal. Buiten is een zooitje. in de tuin staat een aftandse louge set, maar is deels defect en de kussens ontbreken. Verder wordt de tuin helemaal niet onderhouden dus bijna uitsluitend onkruid en muizen. In huis is de bak doorgezakt, er wordt met kussen geprobeerd hier iets aan te doen maar dat helpt niet echt. Parkeren is in een grote stad een drama en enorm prijzig. Keukentje is ook heel erg klein (maar dat wisten we wel!)
