Fabulous spot right on the beach with a view of the surf from the large rooms. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Just breakfast at the hotel but the selection of Indonesian food available in town is top quality as they cater for the mine workers but don't expect western style restaurants.
The snorkelling directly in front of the hotel is word class with some beautiful coral and tropical fish.
You need a motorbike or car to enjoy your stay.
The buildings and gardens are quite rundown with upper levels closed but the location makes up for it. Appears there's plans for redevelopment in the near future. If you're not a surfer it's probably not the spot for you.

I was treated as a princess by the staff! Very friendly could choose to upgrade to a better room if i wanted for a good price. Beautiful graden and right at the beach.
It wasn’t the most luxurious room but like I mentioned I could upgrade but myself i prefer basic room for cheaper price. The building is very old but that is why it’s cheaper than other places
