This boutique hotel is special and far exceeded my expectations. The hospitality is 10/10, the rooms are spectacular and the food is fantastic. Breakfast is a beautiful spread in the garden area, with a large variety of options. This isn’t your typical hotel buffet/continental breakfast. Dinner at the hotel is a must, and great value. The courses are prepared with love and the flavours are amazing. From arrival you’ll quickly realise you’re stepping into a wonderful sanctuary. Be sure to book a Kenoosha experience in the spa! I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

The property itself is fabulous. From entrance to pool house, rooms, garden, everything is very detailed oriented, carefully catered and with very good taste.

The place is beautifully designed, but it feels rather cold and impersonal – we did not feel truly welcome. From the very first WhatsApp contact, the communication focused more on selling extra services than on our needs. In addition, after the reservation it sometimes took one to two days to receive a reply. Upon arrival, the main focus was on immediate payment, without a proper welcome or introduction to the property. On New Year’s Eve, no dinner other than the special set menu was offered. We declined it and asked for a regular dinner, which was not possible. Only then did the staff help us order food from a nearby restaurant for delivery, which we intended to eat in the common areas while ordering drinks on site. However, we were later told by a person acting as manager or owner (who never introduced themselves) that consuming outside food in the common areas was not allowed. This felt inconsistent. Overall, we had the impression that more emphasis is placed on selling extra services than on hospitality, which is typically a key part of local Berber culture. The hotel has only six apartments. We had two of them reserved, and it seemed that only one or two other rooms were occupied. We therefore spent most of the time almost alone on the property and frequently encountered the owner or manager. It felt rather strange that there was no interest in even basic conversation or a more personal approach. At one point, communication was not direct at all – instead, notes were left for us, even though this person was physically very close, which felt quite unusual. We also expected that a hotel of this type would be able to offer at least basic transfers or transportation as part of its service, which unfortunately was not the case and was disappointing. The access road currently does not exist – the surrounding area is still under construction and access is very difficult.
