It was close to everything; restaurants, the Acropolis, grocery store etc. Bill and John the owners were readily available to answer questions we had. The fact that they had a washer and dryer was a plus. Would definitely recommend and if we visit Athens again, thats where we would stay!

The location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated on a quiet dead-end street, just a few steps from the main Acropolis pedestrian street and 2 minutes from the metro station. The apartment is very well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and offers great value for money. The hosts were incredibly helpful, responsive, and welcoming. Everything was perfect!
The mattress could be a bit more comfortable. Also, the elevator in the building is very small, which was a bit tight with a baby stroller (we had to fold it), but that is typical for almost every building in Athens.

Siamo tornati in questo appartamento dopo un'ottima esperienza l'anno scorso, ma purtroppo questa volta è stato tutto estremamente deludente. L'accoglienza è stata pessima: la persona incaricata è arrivata di corsa, con un atteggiamento strafottente, senza nemmeno salutarci, ed è scappata via senza spiegare nulla.
La pulizia ha lasciato molto a desiderare: appena entrati c'era un cattivo odore (giustificato dall'host come "odore di chiuso", ma per terra in tutta la casa e in bagno c'erano evidenti macchie di sporco appiccicoso), e uno degli asciugamani aveva una vistosa macchia gialla. Inoltre, a solo un anno di distanza, la casa mostra già evidenti segni di usura, con vernice rovinata, sbucciature e persino un quadro rotto caduto e lasciato a terra.
Anche il comfort è stato pessimo. Nonostante il caldo torrido di agosto, il letto era preparato con un piumino anziché con le lenzuola leggere; anche togliendo l'interno, il copripiumino doppio risultava troppo pesante. Il materasso è ormai completamente sfondato e ci ha causato tre giorni di mal di schiena.
Infine, l'attenzione al cliente è inesistente: rispetto all'anno scorso mancavano le tovagliette per la colazione, non c'era nemmeno una bottiglietta d'acqua fresca in frigo e l'intera dotazione per il bagno consisteva in una piccolo campioncino di bagnoschiuma e qualche shampoo già aperto di diverse marche; siamo quindi stati costretti a comprare prodotti al supermercato. A completare il quadro, la vista sul giardino interno dal terrazzo è ora compromessa da un cantiere aperto proprio di fronte. Non torneremo sicuramente.
