The staff were all excellent and concerned to go the extra mile. Room had perhaps seen better days, but was fine, and the view of the Severn was great. Overall, a great place to overnight!
The mattress was a bit hard.

The location was super. The room overlooked the river which was a haven for bird life. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely woodburner that sits between the bar and restaurant was perfect for the stormy weather.
The ensuite was dated with a low pressure WC that needed fierce handle action to flush. But given the excellent rate we paid, that felt entirely reasonable.

Bed was comfortable
Very dated, rundown on both inside and outside.
Could smell cooked food everywhere in the building.
