Lovely weekend at the Barrels. Idyllic setting in stunning gardens, just a couple of minutes walk to the river and all local amenities. The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a car park space outside the front door. Great location for getting out and exploring the area. The village had all we needed, including a great butcher shop. Andy and Karen (and their gorgeous spaniel Bertie) are the perfect hosts - helpful and friendly without ever being ‘in your face’ . We had a great time.

Property was done to a high specification. Clean, tidy, and welcoming.
There wasn't anything we didn't like about the property. Although it may benefit from a bigger sign on the road as it is difficult to locate when driving especially if you are on your own. The front step is 'different' and could be an issue if you experience mobility issues.
