Location was great, very close to the town.
Spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds.
Heating worked well once on.
Decent shower.
Host had left us a small tea tray which was thoughtful for our arrival.
I was disappointed not to find any other bits & pieces you would normally find in a rental kitchen- tea bags, coffee, sugar, salt, tin foil etc etc.
Could do with a general revamp / refurb. It is dated but I knew that from the photos.
There was a 'caravan type' smell throughout the house.
Strangely there was no spare plug sockets! Only seemed to be 1 socket per room which had extension leads running everything. Must be a fire hazard. Also no working smoke alarm.
WiFi box was in the kitchen, worked but wasn't great.
The host called and began knocking on the door asking us to leave at 11am on the button, we were slightly behind as someone had taken ill.
I was shocked to hear that a bag of medication we had left behind was binned as punishment for not being outside for 11 on the button.
We will not be returning but wish you well ✌️
