Great location for getting around to different locations . It is such a lovely place to stay in we hope to return in the future. Very comfortable and spacious.

The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work so it smelt about damp after a day or two nothing major though.

Location brilliant, central heating worked well and heated the house quickly. Hot water for bath worked well and the cooker and microwave were efficient.

Sadly theres So much to mention. First appearance wasn’t good; with peeling facia boards, dirty front door , broken rattan garden furniture on front lawn and overgrown grass. Dog hairs in the front bedroom, on the skirting boards and small muddy marks on the lounge rug. Some kitchen utensils and pans were dirty, crumbs left in the freezer. The kitchen bowl has seen better days and had to be bleached to remove the dirty marks. The thick grease on the extractor fan grills and around the perimeter of the extractor grills was repulsive - we cleaned before we used the kitchen. No space in any cupboard or drawer for us to store our own food, all taken by owners items. One empty cupboard would have been helpful. Under the sink disorganised and dirty. Paint peeling on walls and ceiling in the bathroom upstairs. Black Mould evident around old bath sealant, needs removing and sealing properly. Attempts by owners to cover it with bath sealant strips are unsuccessful, dirty mould under and is not sealed. Sink sealant also broken down. Bathroom floor grout broken down near the bath. Downstairs toilet brush dirty with faeces around rim of the pot. Both toilet light pull cords are dirty from hand dirt/grease, a rag soaked in bleach will bring this up clean within 10mins. The lounge would benefit from a couple of reading lamps - we didn’t find the ceiling sunken spotlights sufficient to read at night. King size headboard creaks loudly whenever you move in bed.
