The location before an overnight flight was ideal. There was off-street parking, helpful since I arrived by car. There was an enclosed patio outside the door with lovely seating. There is only one bedroom, but two separate beds, so it worked well for my mother and me. The kitchen was small but cute and functional with a table and chairs. Snacks and coffee/tea were provided by the host. Very nice bathroom, including a washing machine. It was quiet and cozy, we slept well (but with air conditioning on as it was hot.) Easy short walk to the beach and to restaurants. Host was welcoming and kind, and helped direct my car inside the gate. 7 minutes to FCO by car or taxi.
Nothing. I really like to stay in Fiumicino town the night before a flight, it really reduces stress and is a lot more pleasant than any of the airport hotels. I've stayed in a number of places in town, maybe 8-10, and this one was the best so far. I'll definitely be back.

The apartment was incredibly well equipped, everything had been thought of for a stay. We had a baby and a 3 year old with us and not only was there a cot, there were toys for both ages of children. The kitchen had lots in it such as oils and pasta incase you were short, as well as a lovely selection of pastries and some drinks which were really appreciated. There were towels and toiletries- we couldn’t get over how much. It is great for a one night stop or longer, seconds from the beach and with parking. What a find!

Great location one street back from the beach, within walking distance of everything Fiumicino has to offer. Barbara is a wonderful host & gave us all the information we needed, as well as supplying a welcome drink & multiple snacks, plus organising a taxi to the airport for us. We couldn’t have asked for more, & will definitely stay here again. Thanks so much Barbara for your hospitality.
