We have mixed feelings about our experience in this accommodation. They are prompt to reply and can accommodate if you have special requests, or a ridiculous arrival time like ours. The location is very convenient if you want to see more than just Giza and the GEM. We were able to explore the area safely even at night.
However, there are some downsides to this inexpensive place. The photo of the bedroom is totally made up, that doesn't exist.
The address published is not accurate for some reason, so the taxis will constantly drop you off somewhere else. This is especially annoying when they have to pick you up and you must explain where you are. It cost us Uber cancellations higher than the actual rides.
The apartment technically includes all the listed facilities, but for people who NEED to cook their own food, like myself, the kitchen should be in better conditions: there is no hot water, the cooking stuff consists of only a huge pot and a scratched pan, no rubbish bin or bags, or dish towel, or a single matching plate, etc. In the bathroom sink, the faucet is so long the water almost falls outside, it causes constant flooding. The bath has no curtain, so the floor also gets wet.
Regarding all the extras they will offer you:
DO book a day to Saqqara with them, it's totally worth it.
DO NOT book a trip to Giza and the GEM (you can do that by Uber, which is safe, fast and charges fair fees) if you dont want to overpay just to have someone waiting on you all day. You don't need a private driver for that.
