Frühstück ist eine Frechheit, Servicepersonal in allen Restaurants und Bars bestenfalls anwesend, beim Frühstück 40 Minuten auf Getränke gewartet, was allerdings noch besser war, als das Warten auf Bedienung in der Rooftopbar. Wenn man sich nicht beherzt bei einem Kellner in den Weg stellt, würde man nie bedient werden. Es ist unglaublich schade, wie sehr dieses ausstattungsmässig tolle Hotel unter dem nicht vorhandenen Service leidet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ein Witz, der pro Person über EUR 50,— kostet. Die Brotauswahl ist in jeder Jugendherberge größer. Das Servicepersonal hat leider unseren Gesamteindruck extrem negativ beeinflusst. Und die vielen Entschuldigungen prallen dann auch schon von einem ab.

It is one of those places that makes you feel at home as soon as you met by the concierge. The first things that impresses is the truly excellent renovation of an insurance company HO. You enter your room and you notice attention to detail. Not only in furniture and fittings but also in small things. Like the crystal glasses on the bed side or the B&O unit or even the leather cases for the TV controls. Service impeccable - from organizing transport to Monza or the airport to making sure the transport actually arrived. Magnificent views of the Mandonina from the roof garden, location in the heart of Milano - if you value tradition with up to date modern facilities truly excellent service and discretion this is the place to stay in Milano

The location itself is perfect. Staff a mix of super friendly ( concierge/ check in/ breakfast and totally not interested in the bar during drinks. Breakfast is excellent but over the top expensive if paid for. Ours was free to compensate for parking access mess

The access by car to the hotel is a total nightmare. They tell you to go to plaza Torino and then follow the tramline. One problem, due to construction work and renovation of the square, the hotel isn’t accessible. Crazy not to give clearer instructions. The room design is modern but weird. A sink next to desk, shower flooding the floor into the room, it all looks nice but isn’t particularly well designed for hotel usage.
