Most amazing location - such a cool experience staying in an old town like that. The breakfast was tasty. The pool was lovely with the most amazing view.

The streets we walked between our room and the pool and breakfast were very dirty. Rubbish, dog poop etc. my daughter stood in dog poop unknowingly and it was not fun to clean up. The pool closing at 5 was also not ideal with two small children who could easily have spent another two full hours in the pool before dinner.

Design, staff, food!

Amazing scenery, with beautiful views overlooking the valley and sea. On the positive side, the room had a kettle and coffee machine with a good variety of tea and coffee. Breakfast offered a wide choice and the fruit was excellent.

This was a last-minute booking for a Standard Double Room. We chose the hotel mainly for its architecture, online reviews, and room aesthetics. We obviously didn’t expect the exact room pictured, as the hotel notes that each room is distinctive and may differ from the photos. However, we didn’t expect such a significant gap in design and upkeep either. Also, glass water bottles were being stored outside in the small courtyard near the entrance to our room. When we first entered, the room felt noticeably damp, and the presence of a dehumidifier confirmed this. The room would benefit from a solid refurbishment and furniture upgrade. The couch was visibly stained, and the curtains had clearly seen better days. Fortunately, it was summer, so the dampness was less of an issue. The pool area is also fairly limited, with guests already reserving loungers with towels as you would expect at a busy resort. The outdoor pool closes at 5pm during this season to accommodate the restaurant, although there is an indoor pool available.
