We absolutely loved our stay at Island Bliss. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of South Point and perfectly positioned overlooking the pool and beautiful Falmouth Harbour. Waking up each morning, opening the curtains and seeing that view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
The apartment itself was impeccable with modern, stylish, spotlessly clean, lovely rooms and bathrooms. It was also exceptionally well stocked, which really stood out compared with many other Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. Little things such as washing powder and useful household essentials were already provided, which made the apartment feel very thoughtfully prepared for guests.
Kay was also fantastic. She was always available to help or support us if we needed anything, although everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely didn’t need much assistance.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely book Island Bliss again.
There really wasn’t much we didn’t enjoy. The only thing we felt was a little expensive was the US$75 charge for an additional clean during the stay.
We also visited during the summer period when the South Point hotel itself was closed, meaning the on-site restaurant and bar weren’t available. It would have been lovely to have those facilities open, although this was obviously seasonal and didn’t detract significantly from how much we enjoyed the apartment itself.

Wonderful apartment, fantastic space and well laid out and equipped. It was appreciated to have beach towels, olive oil, coffee, tea and washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets as so many Airbnb type places leave nothing not even salt and pepper - but all was supplied here. We also loved being hopping distance from the pool and being able to leave the sliding doors open as we could see the apartment at all times. It was great to be able to sit on our terrace and watch all the crews working on the super yachts and the comings and goings of them. The apartment is also ideally located for walking into Falmouth Harbour and all the restaurants and shops but also easily walkable to Pigeon Beach and we did the Goat trail every morning before breakfast.
Could maybe do with higher wattage bulbs in the bathrooms as quite dark if you don’t have the slats open.

Great apartment in a beautiful location.
The cleaning staff needs to do a much better job, no hand soap in the bottles that are refillable. We did manage to find one roll of toilet paper. Laurence the host is quick to respond, and the apartment is modern and chic. You will love the location and the privacy. I would recommend a new mattress at this time.
