We didn't have a car, so the location was perfect. All amenities were on the doorstep. There was no need to use the free hiking bus or other public transport, as all hiking trails were very easily accessible from the apartment, which was again perfect. The supermarket, Rewe, is just an easy 5 minutes walk away, which meant it wasn't far to carry heavy shopping bags.
The few minor issues we had were dealt with immediately. Although our preferred method of contact was email, due to the language barrier, the emails were dealt with straight away.
Didn't like the fact that you had to call the Office to obtain a key code. We were aware that our apartment was ready when we arrived at 13:30pm yet we had to wait til the Office opened at 15:00pm to speak with somebody to get the code. We were totally unaware that the Office would be closed at 13:00pm, so we had no way of accessing the apartment. There is a Post delivery service at the train station, so we had to get a staff member to translate what the answer phone message said when we tried to call the Office. This was not a good experience on a day of torrential rain. Once we managed to eventually obtain the key code the keys were then easily accessible at the property.

Very nice clean modern apartment in town centre, 5 minutes level walk from train station and main street with restaurants and shops. Pleasant balcony, comfortable bedding, basically equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for two people. Simply furnished but a nice place to stay.
We felt for the price the apartment could do with:
Hairdryer, fan (weather was 30+ all week), toaster, microwave and some comfortable relaxer chairs / loungers for the balcony. The cheap silver “Imbiss” chairs on the balcony were very uncomfortable.
