The flat was really charming and the location was very convenient for us as we were travelling by train. The surrounding area has everything we needed - craft beer pubs, supermarket, different food choices etc. We like the flat having a homely feel and it has everything we needed for a short stay. My child especially enjoyed the arcade machine and she is now obsessed with the retro games! All the towels and sheets were fresh and clean, and all the basic amenities were provided like hairdryer, small fan, kettle, coffee machine etc.
While there was a large sofa in the living room that can be slept on, it's not really a proper sofa bed and it wasn't very comfortable (but don't get me wrong it's very comfortable as a sofa!). Our family is quite sensitive to light while sleeping so with the doors having glass panels, the light does come through in the morning from the rest of the flat - not a huge problem as we know we are light sensitive so we all sleep with eye mask but just want to mention as extra info. Also the bedroom did get a little hot and we are not able to open the windows (only the small top window) - we tried to cool the room down with opening all the other windows in the flat so it helped a bit. One last thing - Kettle can do with a bit of descaling!
