Dirty, unsafe

The photos on the listing…

The property was filthy: there was mold in the bathroom, dirt on the floors, a broken radiator, and dirty appliances. To make matters worse, one of the supposedly “clean” towels was covered in stains. However, the biggest issue was safety. We were given a digital code for the front door. On our first day, five out of six of us went grocery shopping. While one person stayed behind, a complete stranger entered the apartment and walked straight into the bedroom. He knew the door code. My friend called the rest of us saying that he’s in the apartment, and after a bit he went to the stairwell. Fortunately, the rest of our group arrived at that exact moment, and we were able to confront him and kick him out. Following this incident, none of us felt safe, knowing that unauthorized individuals had access to the property. We called the host, who was completely dismissive, claiming it was “impossible” for anyone else to know the code. After we insisted, he promised to send someone to change it within two hours. We waited for four hours, but nobody showed up, and the host stopped answering our calls. Booking.com’s customer service initially seemed helpful, stating that due to this severe safety breach, they would issue a full refund so we could relocate. Based on this assurance, we booked three hotel rooms in the same price category and moved out. However, during a follow-up call, Booking.com completely backtracked, stating they would not refund us anything. The agent claimed that verbal promises made over the phone are invalid unless confirmed in writing via email. Since the calls were recorded, this excuse makes no sense. Booking also claimed on the later calls that hosts are responsible for the customers safety, so they can’t help us. Horrible experience all around. Luckily we’re all safe since we relocated. Because of this nightmare and Booking.com's broken promises, we lost 800 euros. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Lovely apartment but needs better management

The flat is very good, spacious and comfortable, it’s still newish

The flat is good but not maintain well. 2 of the radiators was off the wall with big holes on the wall and when reported to the owner, he did not even answer. Also one of the table chairs was with missing leg, and if you don’t see it could fall down. This is a safety hazard
