Horrible
Upon arrival I was struggling with getting the keys from the lock box. The Airbnd host kindly helped me via FaceTime which I appreciated.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I had to in this case. This was honestly one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. The place was not properly cleaned when I arrived. The toilet was dirty, and the floor clearly hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was no hoover, no mop, and no cleaning products provided, which made it even harder for me to clean the place myself — something I wasn’t expecting to do on my trip. I had to go out and buy cleaning spray, sponges, a mop, and toilet cleaner with my own money just to get the place to a livable condition.
What frustrated me even more was that the host never once mentioned in advance that this was a self-service accommodation. That kind of information should be made very clear before booking. I was told after the fact, only when I asked for cleaning or linen changes, that this wasn’t a hotel and I’d have to pay extra even for fresh bed sheets.
Communication felt dishonest, and I genuinely felt misled. I had just come off a long day of travelling, and instead of relaxing, I found myself having to scrub the bathroom. If I hadn’t already paid for my stay, I would have left. I paid over 900 for this place and you right i should have asked for a refund. I’ve never experienced anything like this and just want to save someone else the trouble I went through. I will now add the pictures.
