Fabulous welcoming , comfortable and clean property. The layout worked well for us as two couples especially as both bedrooms had an en-suite bathroom . The location is super for exploring this area, Bamborough , Holy island, St Cuthberts way and trains from Berwick for Edinburgh are good too , and having the Bean Genie cafe and gift shop next door was an added bonus, lovely owners and fabulous coffee! We would definitely return if/ when we come back to this area .
Nothing we didn’t like as such but feel non slip mats would be good for the shower and bath and maybe some drawers in the double bedroom . Also a new (maybe slightly smaller!) non stick frying pan .

It was comfortable though rather dark
I couldn’t reach the window blinds without climbing on the steps, which for an elderly person is not good. The worst thing was dirty unusable frying pans
