Modern, comfortable and great location!

Big, modern, clean apartment. AC worked well, bed is big and comfortable, decent kitchen with fridge and kettle and big bathroom. The host is kind and helpful. Located in the Blloku neighbourhood its in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from shops and supermarkets, 15 min walk from Tirana centre. Bus stops nearby. I love this place, great value for money. Just make sure you have cash!

They don’t accept card even though it says they do on the policy. You must have cash. In the end I did a western union transfer.

Great place to stay in Tirana

Spacious apartment in convenient setting with lots of cooking facilities and tv

1 / 10

Serious hygiene problems and cockroach infestation completely ruined the stay.

The location was convenient for our work trip, and the property manager later tried to communicate respectfully and offer a future solution after the situation escalated, but still no proper solution is found.

Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean and had serious hygiene issues. There were stains on the walls, the bathroom was very dirty, especially the shower, and most importantly, the apartment had a cockroach problem. On the first night we already saw one cockroach, but we assumed it may have come from outside and did not complain immediately. However, during the following nights, more and more appeared. On the fourth night, my wife woke up around 3 AM and found a cockroach right next to her in the bed while we were sleeping. After that, we stayed awake for the rest of the night because cockroaches kept appearing around the room. The owners later denied the issue to Booking.com and claimed the apartment is always sanitized and that there were no cockroaches during their inspection. However, the inspection happened during the morning, while the cockroaches only come out during the night. Also, the windows were always closed because after the first cockroach we specifically avoided opening them. As shown in the photos, most cockroaches were coming from behind the wardrobe and under the sofa area, where there are old wooden materials left underneath. This is clearly a pest control issue, not simply a cleaning issue. We requested a full refund because the conditions were unacceptable for a stay, especially during a business trip where we needed proper sleep and rest. Unfortunately, this was denied. We still had one more night remaining in the booking, but after this experience we decided to leave the apartment early and book a hotel at our own expense because we no longer felt comfortable or safe staying there. This place has serious hygiene and health issues, and future guests should be aware of that.

La cama era cómoda.

No nos gustó que para ser un apartamento no tuviera utensilios en condiciones para poder cocinar y utilizar la cocina. Nos encontramos un par de bichos para darnos la bienvenida.
