It’s close to the beaches and the life of arugam bay. The staff were super friendly and really accommodating to our needs.
It is a little rough and ready but value for money.

Crystal Bay offers both scooter rentals and rooms! The rooms are comfortable, spacious, with air conditioning, private toilets and showers, a table and chair, and a small covered outdoor area to chill out in.
I stayed for five nights and the price was very competitive. The owner and receptionist are helpful and very friendly.
I also rented a scooter, which was very good value and of very good quality.
I highly recommend staying at Crystal Bay for peaceful nights in a calm and tranquil atmosphere.
Changing the towels without asking for it after two nights
Maybe provide a fridge to keep water or fruit cool

Outstanding value for Arugam Bay. I’ve been in Arugam Bay for 3 weeks at numerous accommodations, and this is the best value. Excellent air conditioning. Private rooms. Near reasonably priced restaurants, which is good because they get more expensive deeper into town. Big balcony. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. They also rent scooters, tuk tuks, and bikes. Highly recommended.
