Beautiful property and Perfect short stay location.

Perfectly central location with amazing view of the cathedral. Lovely restaurants and bars close by. Beautiful decorated it has a lovely cosy feel. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean and the kitchen was well equipped (coffee pods, jam, sugar and a little jar of sweets was a nice touch). We were there by chance during the medieval festival so there was lots going on. Something to be aware of is that the accommodation is over 3 floors accessed by quite a steep narrow staircase, so may not be accessible for all

This is nothing to do with the property but parking was tricky only because of the festival, but once we found a free carpark on the outskirts of the town the car was fine for the weekend.

Great location in a lovely town.

Great location and very central to the town and amenities... and great restaurants. Rooms were comfortable, and even though our visit was in the middle of the June 2026 heatwave, we were able to keep the lounge area cool by opening all the windows. Kitchen was well equipped and use of the washing machine was handy too.

Upstairs bedroom was very "stuffy" in the middle of the mentioned heatwave, and was difficult to keep cool.

Curtain rails fall down. Beb base sheet itchy in hot weather. Prefer toilet near bedroom
