About this house rental

Peaceful pastures in Amish paradise! Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in quaint Kalona. Come and enjoy the peaceful neighborhood for a get away, or entertain a family reunion, with a pasture view. A short walk to visit Amish businesses and downtown Kalona, which includes many local shops, such as: Tuscan Moon, Kalona Brewery, Kalona Chocolates, Kalona Coffee House, Stringtown Grocery, Midwest Woodworks LLC, Golden Delight Bakery, a variety of antique shops, a quilting store, and much more. Only a 20 minute drive from University of Iowa, in Iowa City for sports and more.
This two bedroom, two bathroom house includes vaulted ceilings, open kitchen design, and a back sitting room that has big viewing windows that overlooks a pasture and an Amish farm. The kitchen and dining area include the perfect place to host family members for the holidays or for gatherings with a beautiful oak dining table. The kitchen is fully furnished for entertaining and there is covered parking in an attached garage as well as a washer and dryer available for laundry. There is a sleeper sofa that can sleep 1 person depending on size, and a queen-sized inflatable bed with legs. We offer the standard booking price for four guests, and $15 per guest after that. There is an early check-in fee. If desired please make request in a message. Kalona offers restaurants for an unforgettable, unique evening dining experience.
The neighborhood is quiet, quaint, and friendly. The house is 0.4 miles from downtown Kalona with many businesses and restaurants. There is an Amish grocery store in the backyard, and a full service grocery store 0.4 mi away, a Dollar General, and many local businesses that include novelty shops for merchandise, furniture, and a locally owned homemade chocolate shop, brewery, steakhouse (featured on Wine Spectator's List), a general store, coffee house, and more. Also, there are opportunities for tours of the local Amish country side. This is special and unforgettable experience in small-town, big-heart Iowa.
