The Historic Park Inn Hotel

Everything was great. Really neat place!!

Without a doubt, this is an interesting and unique place to stay. The Frank Lloyd Wright influence is obvious in the hotel and Mason City downtown. Lovely old building that was extensively refurbished over 10 years and well maintained since. We stayed in the hotel on 2 dare a week apart. The first stay was booked directly with the hotel fire a Queen bed and the assigned room was toward the front of the hotel. Our 2nd stay was booked through Expedia selecting a King bed. The Expedia stay was 25% less expensive than the direct booking. So it wasn’t much of a surprise that the Expedia room was on the top floor in back of the hotel directly under the HVAC plant. Probably the ugliest view outside of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The AC ran all night but wasn’t too disruptive; it provided steady white noise and we used ear plugs to get a decent night sleep. But Expedia bookers should be aware of what to expect.

There is not a lot of parking spots. Room was large And so was the bathroom. Property is lovely

Unique experience and beautiful FLW hotel. The restaurant, The Leadlight, was excellent. We would definitely stay again.
