This is a tropical paradise. Great beach better than any on Island ( we checked and compared) room on 2nd floor with balcony with awesome view. Room a little rustic ; but we go for beach; a/c kept room cool. Mama Ines granddaughter is manager shared history; oldest property in Santa Catalina used to be their family home. Two cats kept us company. Next. Door to Surf camp; great frozen cocktails; Enjoy!!oh; ;dont arrive in island at dusk. Dogs roaming everywhere you will drive into one(wanted to bring one home) don’t believe weather forecast; it had clouds every day: we had loads of sun.

Staff was great. Location was great. There was plenty to do onsite. With the hot water would have worked better on the cool nights.

This is our 2nd visit to the family-owned and operated Hotel Mama Ines and we enjoyed both times immensely. This time we enjoyed getting there on the newly-paved road, which was a wonderful surprise.
The infinity pool is gorgeous and kept very clean. We enjoyed the beach. The restaurant serves excellent food 👌 We especially liked the fish fingers.
Room #1 with the private patio and hammock is our favorite and we were given the jubilados "senior discount." The restaurant staff even brought the food to ouf patio. Looking forward to our next visit 😀 Fondly, DARLENE & DOUGLAS HAHN
