This small, but perfectly formed cottage is stunning. It’s been lovingly restored and decorated, and feels so homely. The small touches to welcome guests were so thoughtful, chocolates for the humans, meaty treats for the dog, dog bowls, alcoholic drinks. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable. Having a fan available was great as it would have been too warm without.
The fenced garden is a great size and perfect for the dog. They provided a torch for the nighttime visits, which is so thoughtful and handy!
The electric shower was quite weak so took a while to wash hair, and there was no hot water to do the washing up, so used the kettle. The road is quite busy and loud, the wall is right next to the road.

Very clean and welcoming, beautifully decorated and styled. A real effort has been made to think of everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
It was very warm weather when we stayed so had to sleep with the windows open which meant we had to put up with the noise from traffic passing by, some pretty noisy!
Also found the neighbours a little unwelcoming.

We loved the cottage, it has been lovingly restored with so much care taken to use reclaimed materials. Everything we could have wanted was provided with lovely extras of milk, quality tea/coffee, chocolates, wine spritz's and doggy treats - thank you for a lovely stay 😊
The King William Pub, 2 minutes walk up the road is definitely worth a visit 😊
