Michael was super friendly and welcoming, overall an amazing host. The apartment was clean, had various amenities, and is right around the corner from the beach, various shops, and restaurants. This apartment is perfect while visiting Newcastle.

The flat was nice. clean and well-located.
When we arrived, there was no power. We phoned the owner who was away and he sent a very nice girl to fix it. Then, we were about to have a shower and the hot water didn't work so we had to contact the girl again, who fixed it promptly. The following day, when we wanted to use the wifi, the password we'd been given didn't connect. We messaged Michael, and he gave us a solution. So, all in all, it was frustrating to have all these problems, and although they were all solved, we wasted time/energy and had to make an international call. The kitchen extractor fan didn't work either, so we just didn't use it.
