Luanda City Hostel

Super convenient hostel to meet other travelers or in my case: to leave my surfboards whilst traveling the country. Staff is great, they got AC, a communal kitchen and Botha. Hangout area plus a rooftop where they serve breakfast (included). Laundry service for a very fair price. Big thanks to Raul, Gomes, Joyce and the rest of the team!

Tricky to find the location. A sign somewhere at the main road would be advisable!

Everything! The host Antonio is incredibly helpful. He booked my bus tickets twice through the Macon app, which doesn’t allow payments with foreign cards, he also got his half to help out when I had other issues. He speaks perfect English, so there’s no language barrier here. The hostel is secure with a guard there 24/7 to let you in. It always felt safe here. There’s a free breakfast included of an omelette and bread with coffee or tea. The price is really affordable. Laundry can be done for a very cheap price here. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the shower was always warm. Absolutely fantastic place to stay, and the only accommodation I’ll be looking at if I return to Luanda in the future!

Lo staff gentilissimo e cordiale, tutti, nessuno escluso.

Stanza umida con scarafaggi nel materasso, nessun lenzuolo sul letto, senza finestra in stanza e neanche in bagno e questo non è chiaro nella descrizione. La tendina della doccia è rotta, l’acqua non scende. La stanza è venduta come deluxe ma neanche a fare magie può essere definita “ripostiglio” Pagata 40’dollari, se ne aggiungete 20, trovate hotel veri e propri con piscina e servizi 3* effettivi e con posizione e standard buoni.
