Comfortably furnished (although perhaps a little too much of it) and a good-sized room in an attractive building close to the main (but not noisy) road. Breakfast was fairly simple but good enough (although you can pay a surcharge for a full English etc). Despite my comments below, we would stay again.
The lift didn't work (the room was on the second floor) which could be a problem for some and the smell in the stairwell was off-putting (fortunately the room was fine). Only one, rather large but comfortable chair (there was a second, desk chair but, for a couple, two comfortable chairs would have been better). Strangely, the TV came on at 5am and again a few minutes later and presumably would have kept doing so had I not found the plug behind it and switched it off. Breakfast was fine but there is a £2 per person cover charge even for a basic breakfast (coffee, toast, poached eggs, muesli etc) and a bigger charge for more classic options. Strangely, the breakfast menu advises that additional breakfasts would be charged at £99 each!

The comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home! Brilliant breakfast and charming staff.
No iron/ironing board- look like I’ve slept in a hedge today. Corridors not reflective of the rest of the hotel- bit shabby. Signage- it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack trying to find unsigned reception, and the rooms are almost as tricky!

Amazing atmosphere. So so beautiful! And it was immaculately clean!
The receptionist was very overwhelmed it seemed and was thus a bit short off and not as welcoming as you would expect.

It had lots of potential was a lovely building. Bed was comfy
It was filthy, the smell as I entered the coach house literally made me gag it smelt like dirty drains and damp! The big hotel just smelt of musk! No one said hello to us when we did have a walk round the hotel very rude staff. Other than the new lady on reception she was nice.
