Bansko is the ski capital of Bulgaria which the sprawling developments attest to. We visited in August which was great for access to the Pirin mountains, and the core town of Bansko is still something - amazing church, best food at Mehana Lovna Sreshta Tavern. This apartment is set at the very edge of development, which gives it a good view of the mountains. It is a slightly tired little apartment in a slightly tired block where there was a lot of repair work going on. Despite combined efforts with the host, we could not get the WiFi to work. The beds were comfortable and the apartment has everything you might need - it's an apartment from the old days really - the score we have given reflects our view that it was a good apartment and the value for money was very good. If you're going out on day walks into the mountains, it's a decent base.
Not the fault of the apartment - but the ski area has been brutally developed and in summer is a bit hang-dog. Parking is charged outside the apartment which leads to folk parking all over any green areas

The place was spotless clean, very cozy with a fireplace and a mountain view of the balcony, it gives a sense of tradition with wooden structure but modern facilities inside the house. The owner was very polite and very helpful, i had trouble finding the way to connect the TV and he even video called us to fix it. It is the perfect place for a couple, i would definitely go again.
It has nothing to do with the house itself, but the entrance of the E building is leaking of the rain water and needs fixing.
