Good location in the middle of Faro. Modern, spacious apartment, with lots of good amenities, including large TV with streaming apps available, large kitchen area, and balcony. The bed was comfortable and the shower room was clean.
The lift was not working, and it was quite a climb to the third floor with heavy suitcases. The terrace on top of the building was just a scruffy open space with no seating and no shade cover. In the kitchen there was a coffee maker with instructions to use a certain type of capsule, with no complimentary capsules provided. The plates and utensils were not clean and had to be washed before use.
Before our arrival, which was late at night when shops were closed, I made a simple request to the host for there to be water left in the fridge as it was extremely hot at the time of our visit, however this request was completely ignored without any response, despite the host being able to message with instructions for tourist tax to be left.

Location to the local area and connections
We would liked to have cooked in the apartment on a couple of nights but the kitchen facilities were definitely lacking somewhat.
