We were only in town 2 days and just needed a large enough place close to relatives. We really only slept & showered there, so it fit the bill for us. The unit did have entertainment options, but we didnt have time to use them.

Communication and check in were stress-free. All bedrooms were good-sized and the bunk room worked out well for the three kids. The biggest issue we had was that the basement was a good ten degrees cooler than the rest of the house, which in 95 degree summer days is not all bad for most folks. However, my daughter-in-law found it to be uncomfortably chilly. We had hoped to have the kids play in the back yard, but the trees there are in need of a trim and the limbs hung too low to walk under. The location and neighborhood were great.

The house needs an uplift. Furniture in living room needed cleaned/updated. Shutters on several of the windows had to be manually opened per slat as they were broken. Not taken care of outside, weeds in flower bed (one was almost as tall as I am), the trash can had not been emptied, was completely full & smelled bad, had to walk by this each time we would leave or come back. Host said we arrived before trash pick up day, however we arrived on Saturday and she stated trash pickup day was on Friday so it should have been emptied the day before and was not so no place for us to leave the trash. The sidewalk was buckled I had two elderly travelers with me along with my daughter in a wheelchair and it was dangerous for walking and difficult getting her to the house would use the yard and not the sidewalk. 2 pretty tall steps into house. Both of the screen doors were in bad shape would not lock there were wood doors that would lock. On the back patio door there was no covering and looked to be torn off as there were brackets at the top but no covering. There was a buckle in the flooring in one bedroom into the bathroom that you had to pay attention to not to trip. Communication was not responsive. I had to reach out to VRBO t a couple of time because would not receive a response from host. I have never had issues with VRBO rentals and hosts before we have always been very pleased but this one was by far the worst we have ever dealt with. Very disappointing!!
