The bed was super comfy and the sheets were nice and soft. Loved having extra blankets and pillows in the closet (& fan 🤙🏼🤙🏼). Having a kitchenette was awesome! The enclosed lanai was private and dreamy with all the rain. Doug was extremely welcoming and kind...sweet dogs too! We really enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend!
The hot water in the shower was a bit tricky to get to stay on consistently. Other than that everything was perfect!

The property is in a peaceful rainforest setting and offers a unique experience if you’re looking to stay somewhere different from a hotel. The owner was friendly and helpful, providing clear check-in and check-out instructions as well as useful information before our arrival. We appreciated having access to the kitchen and the complimentary drinks. It was also fun seeing and interacting with the owner’s friendly dogs through the fence. Overall, the place was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.
As the property is surrounded by tropical rainforest, guests should expect a true nature experience. We encountered a couple of insects during our stay which is fairly typical for this type of environment. The owner thoughtfully provided insect repellent in the room. He also kindly asked guests to turn off the lights when leaving and at night to conserve energy and we appreciated his efforts to care for the property.

It was in the middle of the rainforest, with sounds of frogs chirping all night, the weather was dreamy - rained every hour or so, flowers and trees around the property were so pretty!
make sure you apply the provided bug spray, and do beware there might be a green lizard or two in the lanai (balcony) . There were harmless cone snails in the grass behind the property, which were quite unique.
