Zentral gelegen, sauber und alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Informationen den Gastgebers waren hervorragend.

I had an overall lovely stay in Strasbourg at La Cachette Balcon Secret Cathédrale! The location is absolutely fantastic—being just a short walk away from everything was a huge plus for exploring the city.
The apartment is definitely smaller in real life than it appears in the photos, but it has a wonderful, cosy feel that I really enjoyed. In the evenings, with the warm, low lighting on, it becomes a super relaxing space to unwind.
The host is also wonderful—extremely friendly, welcoming, and very quick to respond to any messages, which made the experience smooth and easy.
There are just a few minor cosmetic and maintenance issues that could be improved to make the stay perfect (some of which have been noted by other guests):
Blinds: About half of the blinds don't work. It’s not the end of the world, but it would be great if they were functional.
Bathroom Details: The shower curtain is quite grubby and could use a fresh replacement, and the toilet seat is a bit loose and swivels around when you sit on it.
Basic Amenities: There was no hand soap in the bathroom, which felt a bit unhygienic. While missing shower gel or shampoo is understandable (though a nice added touch!), basic hand soap really ought to be provided.
All in all, despite these minor details, I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again. A few quick fixes from the host would easily turn this cosy spot into a 5-star experience!

We had a really lovely week here and thought it was excellent value for money. The location was perfect for exploring Strasbourg and the apartment had everything we needed for a simple, comfortable stay.
The washing machine and drying rack were fantastic, especially with the lovely weather! The fridge was also a great addition and allowed us to stock up for the week. The TV and Wi-Fi were excellent, with particularly fast Wi-Fi which was a real bonus.
We loved having the option of both a bath and shower, plenty of electrical sockets, and the balcony was a lovely extra. We didn’t use the oven or microwave, so can’t comment on those.
The fan was an absolute godsend during the hot weather and was very much needed! The little sofa and TV also made the apartment feel cosy in the evenings. The bed and bedding were comfortable enough, and we appreciated having everything we needed within the apartment.
Access was very easy, and the hosts were absolutely lovely. They responded quickly to all our questions and even kindly extended our checkout to 11am free of charge, which was a really thoughtful gesture.
There were a few maintenance points that could be improved. The toilet seat was broken and constantly moved to the side, and the toilet itself was quite small and cramped.
Some of the blinds were damaged, although the additional large blind helped with this. The bathroom is a little dated, and the shower holder didn’t work properly, meaning the shower head had to be held. The shower curtain was stained and had a slight smell, and there were some water marks on the taps.
The water temperature was also quite temperamental at times, so this is something to be aware of.
The bed was comfortable enough, although some guests may find it a little cramped or warm, and some may prefer more than one pillow each. I ended up using the pillows from the sofa.
There were also a few chips and marks to the paintwork, particularly around some corners where the paint was damaged and peeling. A little TLC would make the apartment feel even fresher.

L’emplacement de l’appartement (proche de la gare et du centre ville), et la clareté des indications en amont de mon arrivée.
La réactivité de la plateforme quand j’ai eu à les contacter.
L’appartement est atypique et sécurisé. De plus c’est très calme.
Le ménage laisse à désirer: toiles d’araignée, taches sur les coussins du lit, terrasse avec du vis à vis et pas nettoyée.
2 stores défectueux à mon arrivée, odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain et impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre en face.
Impossible de faire fonctionner la télévision malgré les indications et l’appel au numéro d’astreinte (la personne a été très gentille et patiente)
L’appartement aurait besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement!
