Waren in der Vorsaison dort, gute Lage, um Baden zu gehen, Strand fünf Minuten zu Fuß einfach, aber zweckmäßig ausgestattees Appartement/Doppelhaushälfte, Nachbar gleich daneben, aber man ist völlig uneingesehen im Garten u auf der Terrasse
Hatten für den Preis bessere Ausstattung erwartet, sehr einfach, sehr kleines Badezimmer, aber sehr sauber, schwierig ist die Müllsituation, Entsorgung für Selbstversorger, es wird darauf mehrfach hingewiesen, das verstehen wir gut, aber der Müllplan ist schwer einzuhalten, zu zweit schon Unmengen an Verpackungen vom Supermarkt. Außenläden sind etwas schwergängig, Zufahrt von der Straße durch eigenes Tor über Grundstück bis vors Haus möglich. Man braucht unbedingt Auto, es ist bei Hitze viel zu weit zu Fuß in den Ort zu gehen, an der Straße, ohne Schatten, vorallem mit kleinen Kindern.
Wir haben Sardinien bis auf den Westen komplett bereist, dort ist es schon sehr touristisch, wer das mag ist richtig. Anfang Mai waren wir an den Stränden so gut wie alleine, es gibt wunderbare Buchten, diese erreicht man nur mit Auto.

Villetta molto bella con ampio spazio esterno e a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di Simius. Posizione tattica sia per raggiungere il centro del paese che le diverse spiagge in zona.
Qualche disguido sul frigorifero trovato staccato dalla corrente elettrica al nostro arrivo ma risolto in pochi giorni.

The house was in an excellent location, set back from the main beach road with amazing views from its roof terrace. It had a wonderful shaded outside area with plenty of room for a family of four adults.
We especially liked that there were essentials available for cooking and plenty of pots and pans, we would have liked an outside grill/bbq but I think this would have been provided if we had asked for it.
The biting insects- if you are susceptible come prepared, although this is not a criticism of the house and mosquito coils were available.

The outside area and location is what this villa is all about. Superb!
Sun terrace and loungers.
Covered area terrace table and chairs. View (but see what I didn't like).
Garden.
Off street parking.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
Sufficient storage for clothes.

Communication with the agent was always promptly responded to.
A problem with the bathroom sink was promptly attended to.
The hot water supply to the shower - fantastic.
All the seating, inside and out is hard and quickly becomes uncomfortable including the cushioned seats on the terrace, as the cushions compress very quickly.
Attention to detail is lacking: chipped plates, coffee pots with melted plastic handles, flimsy bendy forks with damaged handles. The plug mechanism to the bathroom sink was very stiff this must have been apparent to the cleaners and should have been fixed before it eventually failed altogether.
No villa handbook.
Far too many notices about the rubbish collection and recycling including the threat of a €50 Euro fine if you make a mistake with the Local Authority's insanely complex refuse collection arrangements.
The barbeque set up pictured was not present.
Construction site on the other side of the road (150m) operates 0730 to 1730 Monday to Friday and to 1300 on Saturday. Noisy. Bright security light shines directly onto the villa terrace. This construction site and the complex when finished will spoil part of the view as it is depicted in the photos.
Not very many (just 2) standard sockets are free for use. One in the kitchen, one in the bathroom. You can't use the kettle and the toaster at the same time. No vacant standard sockets in the bedroom for charging phones etc overnight.
