The property was clean and really peaceful & quiet. The shower was good & the bed was comfy.
We really struggled to cook with the Aga & the duvet on the bed was very thin.

Oh my goodness I absolutely loved my stay in this cottage! I loved all the little extras, the wrapped books, the ingenious knife block (I'm going to steal that idea), the use of upcycled items, the map picture with the postcode... lots of things making it a really welcoming, memorable stay and so cosy. It's even got a little cottage garden to have morning tea in. I found the most amazing cafe just a couple of minutes walk - called The Old School House - does brilliant food, banter and a fascinating place to do some local craft shopping and jammy dodger cake. The views from the bedroom window are stunning! The cottage is very peaceful - very little noise from the local street so you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Great place to relax and unwind. It is so clean and fresh, you feel like you are the first person to ever stay there. I would love to go back and have a longer stay next time.
If you arrive in the dark, its handy to have your phone torch ready to see the numbers on the key box.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Cottage. Alles war sehr liebevoll und stilvoll hergerichtet. Sauber war es auch.
Der Garten war leider etwas verwildert. Das ist schade, da dieser wirklich großes Potenzial hat.
