Really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff, great location, would stay there again
I couldn't get the hot water to work in the shower. Plenty of hot water in the basin. My friend, in a room on a different floor, had no problem though.

Great welcome on arrival and coming down for breakfast / check out - thank you. The room was very clean. Comfortable bed and good towels provided.
Although the room was very clean, there was just nowhere to put anything other than the bed. Although there are plenty of wall sockets for phone / laptop, there is nothing to put them on, no chair or table to put your bag on, nowhere in the bathroom to put your washbag etc. I had wanted to do some work in the evening, but had to settle for what I could do sat on the bed with my laptop. The switch for the bedside light is almost unreachable from the bed. A chair and small table would really improve the room - and a box of tissues: kettle appreciated, but if you want to clean the cup after a cup of tea to have water (there is no beaker in the bathroom) then a tissue for this and mopping any drips when making a drink would be really helpful.

The property was of an old style structure and very inline with what we were looking for in our stay
We returned to the property at 10;40 pm and the bar staff stated that the bar was closed yet on arrival they told us last orders were at 11pm.
What made this even more frustrating. people were sat there with full pints..
I got the feeling we were refused because 4 of our party were of mixed race.
The bathroom to the four rooms we rented were very small and the shower trays in all rooms overflowed and couldent take away the waste water.
The breakfast was ok but quite clearly pre cooked and cold when it was brought to your table.
The young lady on reception and taking orders for breakfast was very polite and a credit to the establishment.
