Convenient & Cosy - The living area was huge; impressive even if I didn't have chance to utilise it. Since I travelled for work, the desk was a much welcome facility. Lovely host with easy communication.
Not a great deal to dislike! Since this is a bottom story flat, you can get a little noise interference from the staircase to/from upper floors, but there's not much that can be done about that.

Location was perfect, space was great, more than enough for two people , facilities were nice and of good quality
More as a result of the extreme heat wave, living room window couldn’t be opened so it was quite warm in the space for a couple of days

This apartment is lovely, very clean, in a quiet area by the river so walking into town or to the castle etc was very easy. The apartment has everything you could need with a kitchen, bedroom and living room. Our host left milk and juice for us as well as coffee, tea etc. Our host was very helpful with check in and even gave us extra time on the Sunday to check out at our leisure. Very happy we stayed here and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place in Colchester to stay. 5 stars 🌟

The apartment was lovely and comfortable.
There were cobwebs and spiders in several rooms. I would have appreciated clarity that you have to walk along a remote/quiet path in the evenings to reach the front door.
