We had a wonderful stay in Talbingo! The accommodation was very comfortable and it’s a fantastic base for visiting Selwyn in winter. We also loved discovering the local history (poets and the great suffragette and writer Stella Miles Franklin) and found everyone in town so friendly and welcoming. Ian was a great host and made everything easy. We’d happily stay again!
Mobile reception in Talbingo is limited if you’re not with Telstra, although inside the accommodation the Wi-Fi was absolutely fine. In the end, being a little disconnected became one of the unexpected highlights of our stay. We switched off, spent proper time together as a family and were the most relaxed we’ve been in a very long time!
