Great location

Location is excellent

Room above very noisy. You can hear them use the water and walk around. Pathway/stairs right in front, has a lot of traffic and can be noisy all hours.

A great place to stay in the heart of Varenna

The location was excellent. It was very clean & comfortable.

Brilliant location and spotless presentation

The location and cleanliness. And Antonella was fantastic.

The wifi was very poor, and we rely upon it for travel plans and contacting home. The tea and coffee arrangements were poor. The bedside lamp had a blown globe.

8 / 10

Great location in a well equipped apartment.

The location was perfect - really central and I loved the small balcony with a view of the lake. A bonus to sit in the evenings. The whole apartment was well equipped for a stay at the lake. Once I got the check in instructions, the communication with the host was good.

There is a street light right outside the apartment and so it was difficult to have a fully dark room to sleep. There is also some noise from people travelling up and down the steps next to the apartment - but I did go in peak season so this is only to be expected I guess. One final point is that the communication was rather slow leading up to my visit.
