The pub is an amazing old building with lots of character - open fire, nooks and crannies. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate breakfast and dinner during the two days we stayed. Good wholesome meals, substantial portions, and very tasty. Very dog friendly, even supplied a breakfast sausage.

No beans at breakfast both days. The shower room could do with an update.

Good food, nice Accomadation , easy parking usually

Very busy with day visitors, that’s what you get for being popular.

Breakfast was fine. Location and ambiance very good . Menu and staff excellent.

We reported one shower door had come off its runner, but this was not repaired during our three night stay. We also feel the shower needed a better level of cleaning.
