NEOM DAHAB - - - - - - - - - - - Your new hotel in Dahab with private beach

Staff and service was excellent. Hotel location is great The cleaning standard is very high Food quality is exceptionally good

Nothing

It was clean, the beach right out front was beautiful, and the staff was extremely attentive and kind. It’s a short taxi to the boardwalk area or a lovely 15 minute walk along the coast.

The beach is rocky, but that’s everywhere in Dahab aside from the resort area which is much farther from town.

Nice location to north of town in a chilled area with views across Gulf of Aquaba and towards mountains to the north. Nice breakfasts.

We arrived a day late due to a flight cancellation. The hotel promised they would hold our top floor room with roof terrace and mountain view when we informed them of the delay. On arrival at 1am we were shown to a very noisy ground floor room right next to the kitchen and staff toilets by staff who didn't speak any English. The following morning the manager said he would move us to the correct room, but on returning that afternoon we were informed that it had been given to someone else and the only good option was another ground floor room overlooking the pool. Whilst an improvement, this room also came with noise until late at night from the bar area/staff shouting to each other as they served guests...including a loud party until 2am on one occasion (a fellow guest went and shouted at them at this point). We were not offered any discount/compensation for the fact that the hotel in effect received double income for our original room for a night, having given it to someone else, and were charged in full for all extra drinks and airport transfers. The room we ended up in was fine (other than that we could not open any windows due to noise), but the hotel provided no cleaning/bed making service for the entire week of our stay, meaning that we had to request top up of toilet rolls from desk and we had very full bins by the time we checked out.
