Don't waste your money here. Beware.

The quiet location and views

The property had not been cleaned in a very long time. There was a cobweb right next to where my head would have been if I had been able to sleep on the extremely worn out bed. I did not. I slept on the sofa. The whole place was full of cobwebs and dead spiders. The bed linen and towels were of very poor material or so worn they were like cardboard. The fridge was dirty. Old food left in the freezer from who knows when. You had to twack the switch for the shower on by using a long bit of wood. The shower just trickled. Handwritten notes asking you to keep the dog off the carpet and asking you to strip the bed on leaving ( what actually was I paying for?) The bathroom and kitchen sinks were dirty and the provided soap dispenser was empty. The outside was overgrown and unkempt. There was no way we could have slept on the bed which was as flat as a pancake the minute you got in. God knows how old it was. It was so bad we booked elsewhere and checked out. I actually think my dog picked up fleas just for the few hours we were there. Thankfully she's treated so nothing more than itchy bites to treat. The owner has also refused all attempts to be contacted about this from us and booking.com. Avoid at all costs!
