The accommodation is genuinely characterful and very different from normal budget accommodation. Set on nice grounds, Kinnegad was just a short stroll away and the house is full of character. Some guests have commented on the fact that the place could benefit from improvement, modernisation and maybe new mattresses. However, price point must be taken into account with all properties, and the price is extremely competitive within its segment, and included breakfast. I would happily stay again.

Breakfast was simple- eggs, cereal, toast, yogurt. It was worth it for the price and location that we were looking for. I would far rather stay somewhere with some character, supporting a real person rather than a sterile place that benefits a corporation. Like everyone else has said- the bunnies on the property were a treat to see!
The place was fairly run down and not super clean, but we knew that going in.
