I enjoyed the quiet setting out in the rural outskirts of Kochi City. On top of a great price and location, Onaka-san was also extremely kind having offered to cook breakfast and dinner. The room and building was also well kept, with a great sense of cleanliness.
I don't write this as something I personally didn't like, but if you want a place that is closer to the city than I would try there. But if you don't mind the 15-20 minute drive, the value and quality more than make up for it.
