It was like staying in a 250 sf observation post for a construction site

There was nothing good about it

This is a privately owned property. The owner claimed that it was 409 sf while when we got there it was about 250 st. The also says it’s a one bedroom apartment while in fact it is a studio with kitchen counter is on the other side of the bed with a 2-3 ft space in between. I measured it and it was 11 ft wide by 23 ft deep, I called the owner and he told me I should measure the whole unit not only carpet. The unit was not carpeted. After I kept arguing with him he said the deed states that it’s 409 sf including the balcony and the parking space underground. I checked out same day and he refused to refund me the rent, went looking for a hotel room, finally checked in with my family and a 5 yr old somewhere else at 3 am. After complaining to booking.com, he agreed to refund me after keeping one night rent. I didn’t agree to that and still escalating the matter with booking and tourism department in Dubai. Simply fraudulent activity. I am working with booking on removing them from this platform. There is a construction site next door, you see it and hear it from the window 24/7 with heavy equipment and lights. This is the only view the unit has and it’s just outside the balcony they advertise for.
