Villa Kelolyne

Traveling solo, you always hope for a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment, and Villa Kelolyne exceeded expectations. The grounds and rooms are spotless, and the pool setting is lovely. Big thanks to Jeje and Madé for their fantastic service and welcoming energy—they truly made the experience memorable!

I had a fantastic time staying at Villa Kelolyne as a solo traveler. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. The property, rooms, and pool area are kept impeccably clean. What truly made my stay special was the exceptional hospitality—a huge shoutout to Jeje and Madè for being so warm, attentive, and welcoming from day one!

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing staff who go out their way to do anything for you. They decorated the bed for our anniversary and arranged floating breakfast. Design inside is stunning.

It is a little far away from the beach and the roads near the property are extremely busy so getting a taxi can be a bit of a nightmare.

The villa is attractive, comfortable, and well located in Seminyak. Wi-Fi was reliable, and the on-site staff were consistently professional and helpful, including assisting with personal Grab deliveries and late room servicing.

The stay however was significantly affected by unclear and inconsistent management communication. We booked two rooms starting December 22nd 2025 and received written communication months in advance approving a free early check-in between 1-2 am. At NO POINT was it stated on Booking.com, in emails or even on written policies on their site profile that this would instead apply to December 23rd. Upon arrival after an 8-hour flight from our place of residence (Japan), we were told a 1-2am arrival would be treated as the 23rd and if not, an extra payment was required. This interpretation had never been documented and so, we declined. Our driver was kind enough to find us a hotel for the night. What a welcome. Follow-Up Whatsapp messages placed responsibility on us rather than acknowledging the lack of written clarity. We were then later told another guest had checked out early and that entry could be possible at 11am (standard check-in time) which further contradicted earlier explanations. Our check out date was even the day after our flight so, we paid for a night we did not use however no consideration or hospitality was given for our early check-in request ( again despite being approved months before). Additionally, our driver was instructed not to park in an area described as `no parking`, despite no visible signage or prior notice. Apparently he was seen on camera from the owners. How can the driver of guests be told to not wait outside in their vehicles at the property? Morning noise from a child/children on the premises also disrupted rest. We were under the impression that no kids were allowed for this facility. Lastly, open concept bathroom was lovely but needed actual mats to help with the inevitable water spill in general bathroom area. The two small towels were not enough. We were forced to use extra towels. Some actual mats would have been nice. Truly let down by the unclear policies and inconsistent explanations from management (owners).
