Deze lodge is een perfecte uitvalsbasis om de chimpansees te bezoeken in het beroemde Kibale National Park (de “chimp capital of the world”), met de ingang op slechts 20 minuten rijden. Ook voor de prachtige natuur in de omgeving – crater lakes, watervallen en jungle – is het een ideale plek. De kamers waren comfortabel, de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding uitstekend, en de uitzichten vanuit het hooggelegen resort ronduit fenomenaal. Het eten was bovendien buitengewoon goed, dankzij een geweldige kok die ons echt verraste op zo’n afgelegen locatie. En niet te vergeten: het personeel is ongelooflijk vriendelijk en gastvrij, met 110% inzet om het verblijf perfect te maken.
Eigenlijk niets – dit verblijf overtrof mijn verwachtingen volledig.

It was a bit challenging to find, but the hotel kindly sent a boda driver to guide us in off the main road!
