A terrible Experience! Don’t stay here!

Nothing really! The ladies at reception were friendly!

Don’t stay here!! I booked this place thinking it was a youth hostel and that I would be sleeping in a dorm. In reality it is a mix between a homeless shelter and a communist style drug rehab centre/ nursing home. When I arrived I was greeted by an elderly woman who was wandering around the reception area in soiled pants. I instantly knew I had made a terrible mistake by booking to stay here. The other guests staying here were all odd and they were staring at me. This made me feel very uneasy. Instead of staying in a dorm I was assigned to a tiny room with two single beds shoved into it. There was a tv, fridge and shelving which had a significant amount of food on it. The room smelt like a mix of body odour and decaying food. When I returned later I found that the other occupant was an obese elderly man. I got no sleep whatsoever. The man farted, vocalised in his sleep and snored all night. He also had to use the bathroom every 40 minutes. Unfortunately he urinated all over our shared bathroom, so I was unable to use that. At 3:30 am he started to forage through the shelves for food. At six am he opened a beer and turned the tv on, he then proceeded to watch that. At this point I gave up on any idea that I would be getting any sleep. The old man continued to mutter and look at me awkwardly for the rest of the morning. I couldn’t wait to get out of the place. I later saw an English sign that said that cleaning only takes place two days per week and linen gets changed every 14 days, which is disgusting. The place is also extremely rundown, it is dirty and it is in a bad neighbourhood. Don’t stay here, I don’t even know how it made it onto booking.com!!

Do not recommend.

The room was decent, it had an own fridge and the staff were nice.

The accommodation is in the middle of an industrial area. The way to it at night time didn't feel good. When we walked up the stairs we noticed the smell of people smoking. Later we saw the bathrooms and actually didn't really want to go there. The other guests were very loud and couldn't keep the bathrooms clean. The accommodation seems to be a place for workers to stay but not a good place for backpackers or holiday. I do not recommend. During the entire stay we didn't feel well or safe in those accommodation.
