We had a lovely stay at Suaimhneas. The place was very clean, quiet and peaceful, and the price was really reasonable. The owner is a wonderful and incredibly kind woman — she made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
And the dogs and the cat absolutely stole my heart! ❤️ They were such a lovely bonus and made our stay even more special.
The only downside for us was that check-in is only available until 9 pm. We had travelled a long way and had already let the property know in advance that we would be arriving almost two hours later than planned. We were then asked about the reason for the delay. We completely understand that arrival times are important, but personally, I felt that once guests have informed the property that they will be late, it may not be necessary to ask for the specific reason, as there can be many personal or unexpected circumstances behind a delay.
That said, we really appreciated the owner’s understanding and kindness in the end. She put herself in our position and kindly let us into the house despite our late arrival, and we are very grateful for that.

Habitación justa, sin armario para colgar ropa.
No hay artículos de baño, gel, champú, etc.
Ubicación a 5 km del centro, por un camino que cabe justo un vehículo y sin luz por la noche. Difícil ir andando.
No hay posibilidad de cocina y en la habitación no hay hervidor.
