Loved the gothic inspired room decoration and the wonderful comfortable bed - not too hard as I have a bad back and need a bed that moulds to me not one that is like lying on a plank of wood unlike a lot of places I have stayed in so I slept really well and loved the digital shower and all the room facilities complete with a DVD player and selection of DVDs. The breakfast was excellent too.
I would image that when it was really hot in the summer the room would have been quite hot so a thinner duvet and possibly a small air con unit in the room would have been good but it wasn't too hot in September when we were there. In any case we slept on top of the duvet and brought our own thin fleece blankets which were warm enough for us. But this is a common complaint with most hotels that the duvets are too thick for most of the year.
